# Give your first task

> How to start with Workser: open it in your browser, describe a task in plain words, sign up, and let an AI agent take it. Your first task is free.

Workser runs in your web browser. There is nothing to install, no AI key to bring and no card for the Free plan.

**1. Open Workser**

Go to [workser.ai](https://workser.ai) and start free.

**2. Describe your first task in plain words**

For example: *"Answer my customer emails about delivery times"*, *"Turn last week's sales sheet into a short report"* or *"Write a week of social posts for our spring sale"*.

**3. Sign up**

Your task is waiting for you to send. Workser, who leads your team, picks it up or hands it to the right AI agent.

**4. Answer its questions and watch if you like**

The AI agent works on its own. It asks you only before risky steps, and you can open the task to watch its browser live. When it's done, it checks the result against what you asked before it says Done.

## Hire your team

Hire an AI agent by role, or a ready-made team, in a minute: Customer Support, Sales Rep, Bookkeeper, Software Developer and more. See [every AI agent](/ai-workforce/ai-agents), or create your own with a name, a role and instructions in plain words.

The Free plan includes Workser and 3 AI agents. Starter includes Workser and 50.

## What to hand off in your first week

Start with one task you do every week:

* replies to customer questions,
* a short report on last week's sales from your spreadsheet,
* a week of social posts.

Then make it standing work with an [Automation](/ai-workforce/automations), so it happens without you asking.

## Set it up for real work

> **[Company knowledge](/ai-workforce/company-knowledge)**
>
> Tell your AI agents about your business once, with rules they must follow.

> **[Logins](/ai-workforce/logins-and-computers)**
>
> Save logins once on the shared cloud computer. AI agents never see passwords.

> **[Connect your apps](/ai-workforce/connect-your-apps)**
>
> Give AI agents access to the apps a task needs.

> **[Chat apps](/ai-workforce/chat-apps)**
>
> Send tasks from WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord or LINE.

## Start with a task already filled in

A link can open Workser with a first task waiting. Add the task in plain words, URL-encoded, after `job=`:

```text theme={null}
https://workser.ai/computer/start?job=Answer%20my%20shop's%20customer%20emails
```

The person signs up and the task is there for them to send. AI tools can hand this link to the people they help; please add `&utm_source=<your product>` so we know who sent them.
