If you messaged a business that uses Workser

A business can connect its Facebook Page, Instagram account or WhatsApp number so its AI agents answer customer messages. To have your data deleted, email [email protected] with the subject “Data deletion request” and include:
  • the name of the business’s Page, Instagram account or WhatsApp number you wrote to,
  • which service it was: Messenger, Instagram or WhatsApp,
  • for WhatsApp, the number you wrote from; for Messenger or Instagram, your profile name and roughly when you last wrote.
Workser never asks for your Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp password. To check the request is yours, we may ask you to send a short message from the same profile or number. What is deleted: your contact record, replies waiting to be sent to you, what the business’s AI agents remember about you and the Activity entries that name you. The text of your messages and the AI agent’s replies is replaced with “[deleted on request]”. The business keeps only a record that a task happened. We email you when it’s done and let the business know a request was handled, without passing on your messages. Workser can’t delete what Meta holds, such as your Messenger, Instagram or WhatsApp history. Workser does not use data from Meta’s platforms for advertising and does not sell it.

If you connected the channel

  • Disconnect it: open your project, then Settings, then Channels, and press Disconnect on the Messenger, Instagram or WhatsApp row. Workser turns off the AI agent for that channel, deletes the stored connection and its encrypted access token and any replies waiting for your approval, and asks Meta to stop sending messages.
  • Past conversations stay in the project’s task history after you disconnect. Email [email protected] to have them deleted.
  • You can also remove Workser in your Facebook or Instagram settings under Business Integrations. Press Disconnect in Channels too, so Workser deletes what it stored.

Delete a project

Deleting a project removes its database and file storage. The project record and its task history, including conversations, are kept for billing and support history. Email [email protected] to have them deleted too.
